Each of our specialists has the right to identify their own consultation fees. Our visiting specialists have their own fee structure, you are free to contact their rooms for more details.
Referrals
To be able to claim the Medicare rebate you must have a valid referral with your current GP. We make every attempt to remind our patients of the need for a new referral before their next appointment, but it is your responsibility to ensure your referral is valid.
If you are a new patient your referral will be passed on to the Cardiologist, who will then let us know when they would like to see you. We will then either contact you by phone, email or post as to your appointment time.
Email is our preferred option so please ensure we have a valid email address for you.
If your GP wishes to give you an indefinite referral, it MUST include the word “indefinite” to be valid with Medicare
Payment
We request full payment on the day of the appointment. We accept Cash, Cheque or EFTPOS for payment of accounts. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club.
If Medicare have your bank account details immediate claiming of your Medicare rebate is available. Please remember, that you need a valid referral to obtain the Medicare rebate. Please update your records with Medicare as they are no longer sending Cheques to patients. You can do this online at my.gov.au, by post, in person or over the phone by calling 132 011.
Cancellation Policy
Due to demand for appointments, we require at least 24 hours notice of any cancellation. If you do not cancel or fail to attend your appointment as arranged, you will be charged a $50.00 non-attendance fee, which must be paid before the next appointment.
